Holy Eucharist
Holy Communion
Receiving Christ in the Eucharist
The Holy Eucharist is at the heart of Catholic worship.
During Holy Mass, we gather as a community to give thanks to God and receive Christ in Holy Communion.
We encourage the faithful to participate in the Mass and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Meaning of the Eucharist
The Eucharist:
- Nourishes and strengthens our faith.
- Unites us with Christ and His Church.
- Reminds us of Christ's sacrifice and love.
- Calls us to live the Gospel through love and service.
First Holy Communion
First Holy Communion is an important milestone in a person’s faith journey. It is the first time a baptized Catholic receives Holy Communion.
Children preparing for First Holy Communion take part in faith formation to learn about the Eucharist, the Holy Mass, and living as followers of Christ.
Living Our Faith
Receiving Holy Communion calls us to carry Christ’s love into our daily lives. We are encouraged to show compassion, serve others, and remain active in our parish community.
John 6:35
I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger.
