Holy Matrimony is a sacred covenant in which a man and woman unite their lives in love, faithfulness, and commitment before God.
We are honored to accompany couples as they prepare to begin their married life and build a family rooted in Christ.
The Meaning of Marriage
Through Holy Matrimony, a couple is called to:
- Love and remain faithful to one another.
- Support each other through life's joys and challenges.
- Grow together in faith.
- Build a loving Christian family.
- Welcome and nurture children as a gift from God.
- Serve one another and the wider community.
Preparing for Marriage
Marriage preparation gives couples an opportunity to reflect on their commitment, strengthen their relationship, and understand the spiritual meaning of Christian marriage.
Couples may be asked to complete:
- Marriage preparation or seminars
- Required interviews and counseling
- Submission of necessary documents
- Pre-marriage requirements of the parish
- Other requirements according to Church guidelines

Marriage is more than a wedding day. It is a lifelong journey in which husband and wife are called to grow together in love and faith, with Christ at the center of their family life.
